Description
The title of this oil pastel artwork came to me first in Hungarian: Csak egy kör, again play around the phrase. On one level, it echoes the familiar phrase “just a round,” hinting at the illusion that it is only one more drink. On another, it leaves a blank page for the viewer to discover the portrait through their own interpretation.
Medium: Oil pastel on cold-pressed, 100% cotton, museum-grade paper.

Ennek az olajpasztell alkotásnak a címe először magyarul született meg bennem: Csak egy kör, amely egyrészt felidézi a jól ismert „csak egy kör” kifejezést, utalva arra az illúzióra, hogy csupán még egy italról van szó. Másrészt teret hagy a néző számára, hogy saját értelmezésén keresztül fedezze fel a portrét, mert csak egy kör.
Technika: Olajpasztell, hidegen préselt, múzeumi minőségű papíron.
