Kiss is Kiss:
As long as I can remember, I have stood up for LGBTQ communities for one simple, childish, but human reason: love.
My heart always ached when I learned how society labeled people for who they love and how difficult their journey can be before they feel free to embrace their true nature. For many heterosexual people, loving openly is something they can take for granted. Yet countless LGBTQ individuals have had to hide their feelings, feel ashamed of their love, or fear rejection simply for being themselves.
That has never seemed fair to me.
The wounds people collect throughout their lives because of prejudice, exclusion, or misunderstanding can run deep. And for what?
Love.
One of the most powerful and essential human emotions — the heartbeat of our existence.
I cannot judge or reject someone because of where their heart leads them.
That is why, in 2026, I decided to express my support through the artwork Kiss is Kiss. The painting celebrates love in its many forms and reminds us of something simple:
A kiss is a kiss.
Love is love.
And every person deserves the freedom to share it without fear.
